GREAT PRODUCT 👍🏻With it being a highly raved product, i understood why it was so. It is a great make-up remover! It had a waxy, balmy consistency (similar to vaseline).
Pros: Very effective in removing make up and leaves skin feeling moisturized after using it. Definitely prefer this over other make up removers.
Cons: Although it is highly effective, it is also very expensive. As Singapore doesn't carry this brand, it is difficult to get this product here.View Review
Good but not GreatAlright this product probably needs no introduction. Banila Co's Clean it Zero is definitely taking the K-beauty world by storm and dupes which work probably even better for a similar price have been made.
Coming in a pink box with a pastel pink container and a bright pink lid, the Banila Co Clean it Zero also comes with a spatula for you to scoop up the product for not only hygiene purposes, but also because of the fact that the product turns to liquid (oil) upon contact with the skin. Because of this, I would say a little goes a long way and there is a tendency to scoop up too much product. Not to worry though as through time you'll definitely be able to gauge how much you'll definitely need. Usage is to apply onto the face, massage the face and spend more time on places with waterproof makeup, wet hands and massage again to emulsify the product and then rise off. I usually double cleanse so I follow it with a foaming cleanser.
As for removing waterproof makeup, this remover does a fairly decent job. On my hand there was waterproof liquid liner (dolly wink -Black, K-palette - Brown), lip tints (Etude house cherry tint - pink, Peripera ink - orange) and gel pencil liners (Innisfree gel liner - black and brown). The dolly wink needed some massaging to get rid off while the others came off fairly easily except for the peri pera tint, which you can see is still slightly there even after adding water to emulsify it and rinsing it.
Another note that it has a scent to it so if you're not a fan of strong scents, this might be strong for some. In fact, after only rinsing with water, the scent still lingers. It also clouds the eyes when massaging away the waterproof eyeliner in the eyes and some people do not like that feeling. Though if it happens, rinse your eyes with water and dry it. Luckily enough, it did not sting my eyes while it clouded it.
Overall I would say this is a fairly good product and lasts a very long time. However, I find that there are other products with a similar price tag that does a better job as this product tends to also leave a sort of film on the skin after washing it off which makes me wonder if it did wash my foundation off well enough. I find that I like to bring this for travels (since it's not liquid) but I tend to strive towards my other makeup removers at home.
Eye stinging oil balm
Bought this on ***** while it was on sale. Chose the original version because many have raved about it.
I use it every evening to remove my sunscreen and dirt on my face. It is very effective and the oil balm melts almost immediately coming in touch with my face. It also is very easy to spread and cleans up my face real well.
One downside about this is that it stings the eyes whenever I try to use it for my eye makeup removal.
I would recommend this to those who are following the double cleansing method! Would repurchase this if it is on sale again!View Review
Already on my 2nd bottle of this, and I bought from *****! I really love this and it's the perfect makeup remover cleanser. It's not too oily and it really can remove all waterproof make up. Even my mum likes this product! Definitely my holy grail.View Review
Great makeup cleanser
This cleanser should be used on a dry face. After applying it on your face, wet your fingers and gently massage and all your makeup will be gone after a rinse.
I used to still get traces of makeup removed during the toner stage, but after using this cleanser, my face is all clean. Very good cleaner, recommend to all.View Review
