No cotton pad needed!
First Impression: Pretty cool. With good packaging color, not too shabby.
Price: Reasonable, especially for those not too heavy user.
Pros: Love it easily remove the makeup as it works like oil base make up but in a solid/ sorbet form. It keeps the skin moisturised. Does not need cotton pad.
Cons: Strongly not recommended for oily skin user or period time, as it will cause breakouts.View Review
Make-Up Cleansing Balm
I bought this product off *****.my after hearing about this cleansing balm for AGES from Youtubers & friends. Packaging was super pretty as it came in a nice pink box and had a little info/instruction sheet as well. The scent is great; nothing too overpowering but present enough for a 'clean fragrant feel'. Texture is as expected when you hear that it's a balm.
I used it as directed, which is to take the little scoop provided in the box and scoop up desired amount, and then I proceeded to smooth it over areas I wished to clean. I wouldn't say entirely that a little goes a long way but definitely don't need crazy amounts to get a good clean from it (even with waterproof makeup, which is what I tried it with!).
The most impressive thing about this product is truly what it's known for; how WELL it cleans any make-up. Like yes you have to rub it in but you don't need excessive rubbing to get off waterproof make-up. Plus, it doesn't sting as badly as oil-based removers if it gets into your eyes!
I'm not sure how this compares to other cleansing balms as this is the first I've tried (previously been using micellar water and oil-based removers) but I would most definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good make-up remover and is willing to spend a little bit more!View Review
Best make-up remover
This is by far, the best make up remover I've used. It comes with a spatula that you can use to easily scoop up desired amount of product. Apply them directly onto your skin, and gently massage them to dissolve your make up. Add water to emulsify the product so it helps removes make up more effectively. I like to use a damp wash clothes to gently wipe away after that, and this method always leave my skin feeling nice and tight without leaving any oily residue behind. After that, I proceed to cleanse my face with a water-based cleanser.
I find this product the most effective because it literally removes ALL make up including stubborn waterproof mascara. I highly recommend this to anyone that uses make up.View Review
Banila Co Clean It Zero
Usage: Apply all over the face, dissolve with water to form like a milky consistent, use cotton pad to wipe and wash of excess.
Impressive: The formula is like a balance between balm and gel which consists of oil to remove stubborn makeup. Very light weight, smells fresh without funny fragrance. Just note when removing near eyes, apply little on cotton pad then remove eye makeup preferably dry without wetting the eyes as it can sting. The oil formula is easily wash off with some water and doesn't dry out skin after washing. It comes with a spatula thats great for hygiene purposes.View Review
A gentle yet effective makeup remover.
I had purchased this cleansing balm after it was highly raved on Youtube by those beauty bloggers.
How to use
First massage the product all over the dry face. Then follow it up by adding water onto the face which would turn it to a milky liquid and then thoroughly cleanse your face.
When you first open this product, it smells like clean and fresh. It's scent is not overpowering and is comfortable.
This product is a light-weight sorbet like texture which effectively cleanse and removes all my makeup.
A tip to note though, do not get this anywhere near your eyes as it stings and makes it blurry until you wash it out ):
I like how it gently cleanse my face thoroughly without leaving the "over-cleanse" feeling where your skin feels taut and dry. It comes with a spatula for stopping out the product which i find that it's great for hygiene purposes.
Overall, I would give this a 4/5 stars as I like it however if given a chance, I would switch to another brand to try - preferably one that doesn't sting my eyes!
