This is a very nice palette, a bit luxurious and a splurge. The compact is sturdy with a little heft, and the mirrored lid stays fixed where you put it, making it very user-friendly as you won't be fighting to keep it open. The finish of the plastic is reflective that shows up every fingerprint and errant bit of shadow, but it cleans up easily and the quality of the compact makes up for this.
I like doing the one brush technique, starting with the lightest color all over the eye and working up into the darker colors as I concentrate towards the crease and outer corner. I feel I get my best eye look when I stick to three of the colors from this palette, but shades 1 through 4 are very pretty on their own and shade 5 is nice as a liner. The formula is, on a scale of 1 to 5 for pigmentation, about a 4 and grabs a little bit but will blend out. Although Becca claims it has a "built in priming effect" I get a little creasing and fading without a primer.
As far as using this palette for other areas of the face as Becca says it can, I have tried shades 3 and 4 as a blush and both are very nice and natural looking on the cheeks. This palette paired with the Ombre Nudes palette make a nice multi-use duo that is reasonably sized for travel.
This palette itself feels luxury from the packaging. The choice of colours are great but there are many cheaper palettes out there with the same shades and more shades in them like the morphe ones. The shadows are smooth but it has fall out which is kinda annoying. It did went on a little patchy sometimes. I tried using different brushes so it worked kinda. I dont think this palette is worth your money because there are many palettes with same tones that are better quality.
This palette has the perfect condensed selection of warm neutral eye colors. It's all you'll need to create a neutral eye look that can complement any make up look. The colors are pigmented and build-able, powder is finely milled, texture is buttery smooth and very easy to blend. Packaging is sleek and simple. The palette is so well-made and luxurious, an absolute must-have for warm neutrals lovers.
As with all Becca products, the quality is excellent. The colors are creamy, pigmented, blendable, and buildable. So beautiful to use and looks great on. I have brown eyes and you can really use these colours in different ways to get a day/night look. I'm thinking about getting the rouge ombre palate also since seeing the colours in store. Fantastic product.
It is very soft so that means a lot off kick off of the powder. I do like it just that for the price I dont feel its worth it. Blends very well but sometimes fades off too much. And cant achieve many looks in my opinion. Its pretty much the standard neutral eye look and maybe a smoky look. I would say for the price, you could get another palette with more colours. And I actually do like a shimmery shade for the eye lids which this doesnt have.
