Drugstore products.... Always sceptical of them, aren't you? I am.
In the early stages of using the product, I absolutely loved it. However, after the third time applying it, I felt like the stench of wax became all too strong and disgusting to be smelling throughout the day.
Im also a person who absolutely loves bright and startling colours, and because this is more of a lip balm, it doesn't allow for that hence needs application of a lot of layers for the colour to slightly pop🎉 It's not very moisturising as well, I still prefer Sugar from Sephora or even the Palmer lip balm (check previous reviews).
Recommended for people who are utterly broke (yes I know this lifestyle and it is NOT cheap😂) and need a lip product at the time being... But not for a long term use and not recommended for.... Anyone in general 😂
i bought the pink one at Guardian. the price is affordable to everyone. it moisturizes my lips well, and it gives my lips a vague pink color, which i love. it smells nice too and the size is so handy i could put it inside my jeans pocket. but on the downside, it's not long-lasting so i'd have to keep reapplying it. but looking at the price, maybe i don't mind at all. it's super cheap already ! love it.
This is a amazing lip balm which it is not only moisturise the lips , it also help to smoothen the fine lines on the lips . However, it feels balmy on the lips which I feel is ok. It is also can be layered by other lipstick on top especially matte lip stick . It can make the application easier and the result appears nicer. A good lipstick base for me !
I've been using the Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm for YEARS! I've gone through so many and it has kept my lips super nourished, smooth and pampered! Due to travelling often, my lips can get dry but this little baby saves the day. It smells great, and is so small and convenient to keep in your handbag. This is one product that I do not go out with it (i'm serious!!) After trying so many other lip products to keep my lips nourished, I always go back to this as it's cheap and affordable! Do give it a go!!
The product is good. It does the job of moisturising your lips. My lips are very dry and this helps to moisturised it. Personally, I think that the Dr. Rescue versions are better than this because it is more effective than this product for me. It leaves a glossy kind of look on the lips and doesn't really absorb that well. Overall, it is a pretty decent lip balm especially for the price that you're paying but there are definitely better lip balms out in the market. If you're not picky, this is good enough.
Maybelline New York Baby Lips Lip Balm offers adult strength care for baby soft lips.
