I was pretty sceptical about trying Benefit’s Posie tint because the tint was in a very odd shade of pink when I first pulled out the brush. Since I got the miniature version from their advent calendar I might as well try it out. The overall application was very easy and smooth. To my surprise, the colour did not end up looking like the odd pink I saw from the beginning and it turned into the sweetest shade of pink! I absolutely loved how it appeared on my lips but the only down side was the very chemical smell/taste it had.
I first used this before heading out for a banquet dinner. When I uncapped the product, I wasn't very impressed looking at how opaque the pink was, thinking it would look 'funny' as a blush but I was wrong. It blends in easily on the cheeks, though I must say the color payoff is very lightweight. I would say this is more suitable when used for a everyday makeup look instead for an occasion look because it's very natural looking. As a lip tint, the consistency was watery and the pigmentation was on the natural-looking lip color side.
this lip stick is watery, can be used as lip tint or blusher, if using as blusher must blend it quickly, else when it get dries will look patchy. the colour is light pink, looks cute, apply little on cheeks look natural. for lip tint, not very pigmented, the colour is too light for my lips, it is water tint so not hydrating at all. packaging is a bit too bulky for me:
A poppy-tinted lip and cheek stain.
