to say this pore filler is legendary would be a colossal understatement!!! i've always wondered why my foundation looked so bad all the time (i was so convinced i just had a madly uneven skin texture) but ever since i started using this, my whole world has turned 180 degrees. using this under foundation really makes your complexion look positively airbrushed and porcelain-like. it's very silicon-ey in texture but blends like an absolute dreaaaam. although the product is beige in colour, it blends almost transparently and adds a gentle matte glow to the skin. not to mention it dries REALLY fast. it doesn't help much in terms of oil control, but i suppose that's why benefit created the 'matte rescue', which you're supposed to layer underneath the porefessional. i'm still on the fence as to whether i'd repurchase this because although it's pricey, it can really last you a long time since a lil goes a long way with this product. seems like a worthy investment but agh i just can't decide! i've also used the sephora collection pore and fine line filler, which is almost identical to the porefessional, but it's a little thicker in consistency and a little more difficult to apply. nothing really comes close to the porefessional!!!
I got the sample size as a gift from someone. I was so excited as many beauty gurus such as manny mua had raved about this primer. But sadly, it was below than what I've expected. I own an elf poreless face primer and this primer gives the same exact effect on me like my much cheaper elf ones. Besides that, as this is a silicon based primer, I can't wear it too often as it might clogged my pores. It does help to reduce the appearance of my pores and make it smooth just like the elf one. Price wise, I'll choose the elf one more than this as they both give me same effect.
I have the mini size from Sephora to try out and it turns out very well. It really covers up my pores and makes my skin look smoother. Foundation and concealer sit on top of it well too.
Besides being a little pricey, I think this is way better than many primers in the market. It also mattify my face and make up stays longer on my face.
I've seen many reviews on this product and I thought I should give it a shot and I bought the mini size to test how it goes for me and bulls-eye it hits! My skin are oily when it comes to weather in Malaysia. This primer makes my foundie stay on much longer. The price was okay tho. Bought it at mid valley benefit boutique. Packaging was cute (never doubt Benefit products packaging) the name's catchy. Overall loving it 😍
Of all the beauty minefields out there, visible pores are one of the trickiest to dodge. Foundation alone doesn't do the trick, which is why we turn to this translucent balm to shrink the appearance of our pores. The silky, oil-free formula diffuses pores and fine lines for an airbrushed finish, and it goes on sheer, leaving skin smoother and more even. We can use it as a primer in the mornings or as a touch-up treatment throughout the day-and we always have it on hand, with its stash-in-our-handbag mini size. Perfect T-zone, here we come.
